Sunday Shout Out: Used CDs (Amazon)

If you're reading this, then you probably already know that I am a huge U2 fan. You probably know that I prefer 90s era U2, as well. During the 1990s U2 released three studio albums: Achtung Baby, Zooropa, and Pop. I didn't own Zooropa until last week. I've wanted Zooropa for a long time, but since I squander so much money on so many other things, I just felt I had to draw the line somewhere. And, I very rarely buy music--I usually just listen to the music I have already.

Then I checked out the used CD section of Amazon.com and found Zooropa for one cent (plus $2.98 shipping). I found All That You Can't Leave Behind and How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb (two more recent U2 releases) for the same price. That's three albums for the price of one iTunes album. When my CDs arrived, one of the albums was actually still in the original cellophane! I imported the albums to my iPod and I've been living the dream ever since.

Today's Shout Out goes to the used CD dealers at Amazon. You guys are awesome, and when I'm ready to buy music again, you'll be the first place I look.
