How is it possible for us to be such good friends when I have so little in common with you when it comes to this list?

I have no beef with Yeats, Larson, Orwell, or Browning. But of the rest of the authors on the list, I either have no interest in reading them, have never heard of them, so consider reading their stuff to be kissing cousins with torture.

But I still think you're cool.

Kaufmen is my favorite screenwriter: being John malkovich, eternal sunshine, adaptation. I think you'd like him.

I do like Jack Johnson, but I haven't listened to all that much of his stuff. I keep intending to update these lists with more of my favorite writers and musicians, but I haven't made the time for it yet.

I'll have to listen to more Jack Johnson and see if he makes the cut!
