The Shadow-gloom and Weight of the Sacred

Today is our last day in Vienna. It's strange leaving. Everything is packed and shipped. What's left is crammed into suitcases. Yesterday was our last day, really. Today is just traveling to the airport and flying away.

I spent an hour or so in Votivkirche yesterday with the Queen Bee. She slept in her stroller. I took in the beauty of the building, it's solitude.

Tonight, I went to my favorite Imbiss (at the intersection of Mariahilferstrasse and Webgasse) and bought a döner kebab. It's the best kebab in Vienna. A fitting way to end my time here.
